Granny coin purse

I made a bunch of new things for the craft fair in May (yeah I know almost two months ago)... A few new styles and designs. It was a hassle to get the purse frames for these but when I finally had them in my hands this is what I came up with.

Once again. Perfect use for scarp yarn and even fabric. This one is lined with white blue checked vintage fabric. Still available in my shop :)

Through instagram

Spring have been keeping me busy. We started renovating our bathroom in March. So much work although we're not doing it ourselves. Within a few days we will be able to use our new sauna so that is an awesome feeling! Preparing the garden for spring, doing garden work, training with the dogs, working on new items, work etc. I've started using instagram lately, you can find me here: http://instagram.com/sofiasobeide

Missing you

I have been planning to get back to blogging again for SO long. So much have happened. Many big changes in my life during the last year.

Graduating
Getting married
Starting a full time job as a teacher
A house of our own
A third furry family member

Can it even happen any more things in one year?

Now life is calmer and I have started to miss blogging.
I think I'm back.
We have tiny lake nowadays

It is gone

the summer. I really feel I didn't have time to enjoy it much this year. Due to all the wedding planning. After our honeymoon I started working at my new job. Many changes under a short time! I think I have been able to keep up with it fairly good though. The summer in my garden.

I'm a Mrs now

The wedding is over. So much planning for one day and then it is over before you even realize it.

We had a wonderful day though. The weather was good (could have been better but could also have been much worse), the guests had fun and the food was SO good. I had so much to think about and had quite a hard time just enjoying the evening. Anyways, now we have been happily married for over a month. After the wedding we went for a short honeymoon to Gdansk, Poland. It was nice and relaxed just enjoying the city and good food. Here is a sneak peek... On it's way somewhere

I'm participating in a photograph challenge. The theme (free translation from English): On it's way somewhere. I found these guys in the garden, all on their way somewhere. I was quite amazed by the pattern on the frog in the first pic!

Wedding wip: floral crown

Just two weeks left until the wedding. Eeek! So much left to do and so little time. Mostly it's decorations that needs to be made and some practical stuff that still needs be planned. Other than that I think we have everything under control.

I decided to make a floral crown myself. It will be perfect with my hair down and matches my kind of simple boho-styled wedding dress. I'll just show you the wip pics, won't show the finished crown until I wear it. I'm really happy with how it turned out and it was so fun to make it. I will also be making matching floral bracelets for my bridesmaids.

The invitations

The invitations have been sent out a while ago and I can now show them here on the blog. It was a lot of work! We didn't find any ready stained paper so we stained it ourselves with tea. But I really do like how they turned out and hey it's only once you get to make your own wedding invitations, right? Luckily it was just 35 invitations.

Here they are. Rustic and peach-coral which will also kind of be the theme for the wedding. I addition to summer nature and green.
