It's been a while

Over a year to be more exact. A lot have happened during this year. Really A a lot! As some of you might now already.

It's been a rough year with almost nine months of vomiting. On the 31:st of March our baby girl Aida was born.  Much of my time is therefor spent hanging out with her. I also got probably the best ever birthday gift for my 30:th birthday. A serger. <3

Every single nap time (and she doesn't sleep much) is spent with this one.

 

Vacation

Summer is finally here and I'm on vacation. A few instagram glimpses of my summer so far. Hopefully I will have time to work a bit in my studio too. So far I'ts just been a lot of relaxing, long walks with the dogs and running.

I December we got a new family member, Echo. He is my new agility dog. I'm already competing with Imma. If you wan't to check our competitions out you can find them here on youtube. Assa the portuguese waterdog is just a beloved family member. :)

Spring have been keeping me busy. We started renovating our bathroom in March. So much work although we're not doing it ourselves. Within a few days we will be able to use our new sauna so that is an awesome feeling! Missing you

I have been planning to get back to blogging again for SO long. So much have happened. Many big changes in my life during the last year.

Graduating
Getting married
Starting a full time job as a teacher
A house of our own
A third furry family member

Can it even happen any more things in one year?

Now life is calmer and I have started to miss blogging.
I think I'm back.

Changes

Spring came and summer is here. I've had a crazy spring. I mean really crazy. I wrote my masters thesis, had my last exams and last week I got my masters degree! I did it! Studying full time and working part time have been really crazy. Now it feels kind of empty. Nothing to study and no work to go to anymore. For the first time in my life I'm unemployed. I don't get to continue at my old work because I'm overqualified now. It's scary but a nice feeling of freedom too!

The wonderful thing about this situation is that I finally have time to create again. And blog and photograph more! 

It's March already!

And I've been gone for over two months! Sorry about that...

I've been busy planning my wedding, working, writing my thesis, skiing and being sick. I'm better now. I've been having terrible almost daily headaches since early December. Been to several doctors tried too many different medicines but nothing worked. I've been much better now for a month so hoping that the headaches are gone now.

Spring is almost here and I'm filled with inspiration again. I've bought my wedding dress and some other things for our wedding. Also working on invitations and will be showing you a sneak peek soon...

Weekend glimpses

It's been a gray and gloomy weekend. Perfect for cozying on the sofa, crocheting and watching a movie. So I did, accompanied by a glass of red and honey roasted nuts. Here are a few glimpses from my weekend.

The first snow

I love winter. On Thursday evening we got this winter's first snow. I just wanted to go out and make snow angels in the snow. Instead I took my camera out on Friday morning to take photos of our winter wonderland. 

Still some autumn leaves left. Was going to pick mushrooms this weekend, but not really possible now. Went for a long forest walk with the dogs instead.

Autumn

Autumn is here. I' the worst blogger ever. But really I have too much to do. Studies, work, family and a business. I love it though and as soon as I can check of studies from my to do list I will have a hole lot of more time.

It's autumn. Love autumn with all its colors. This morning was magical. We had frost, sun and all the colors of autumn. Of course hard to capture in pics.

Enjoying summer

So I'm enjoying summer. Not blogging much. But really why sit in front of the computer when you can be outside picking berries, walking in the forest or just relaxing in the sun with a cup of coffee! Well I'm also preparing for a craft fair, more info to follow later. It's in July and I'm crazy busy preparing for that one!

We have a lot of wild strawberries in our garden. They are really the best while eaten fresh and warmed by the sun. We have so much though so I've even saved some for the winter.

Happy birthday Assa!

Today is Assa's first birthday! Time flies. It feels like it was yesterday that we got her. She is still a wild and crazy puppy though.

8 weeks old at the beach. Swimming for the first time in her life.

She is a Portuguese waterdog by the way. We´ll see if she likes swimming this summer.
