I'm testing out big cartel and will probably move over to using it fully instead of Etsy.

I love the simplicity of the page. Faster than Etsy and I love the big photos! Only five items so far (free version) but I will be moving over the rest soon.

Changes

Spring came and summer is here. I've had a crazy spring. I mean really crazy. I wrote my masters thesis, had my last exams and last week I got my masters degree! I did it! Studying full time and working part time have been really crazy. Now it feels kind of empty. Nothing to study and no work to go to anymore. For the first time in my life I'm unemployed. I don't get to continue at my old work because I'm overqualified now. It's scary but a nice feeling of freedom too!

The wonderful thing about this situation is that I finally have time to create again. And blog and photograph more!

The timeless journal

Without my journals and to do lists I would be lost. And terribly disorganized. I've been searching for that perfect journal with many blank pages, to do lists, monthly and daily planning. I stumbled upon Notbook Notbuk's timeless journal. They make journals that you fill out yourself with dates and months. Perfect for me since i sometimes have weeks that I don't have time to be organized and make list.My regular journal often have several blank weeks where I haven't written anything which really is a waste of paper.

Plus my journal has cute little penguins on it!

It's March already!

And I've been gone for over two months! Sorry about that...

I've been busy planning my wedding, working, writing my thesis, skiing and being sick. I'm better now. I've been having terrible almost daily headaches since early December. Been to several doctors tried too many different medicines but nothing worked. I've been much better now for a month so hoping that the headaches are gone now.

Spring is almost here and I'm filled with inspiration again. I've bought my wedding dress and some other things for our wedding. Also working on invitations and will be showing you a sneak peek soon...

December is here!

Just 23 days until Christmas! Are you prepared? I have bought all Christmas gifts already. Everything either handmade or bought on Etsy. It feels so much better to give handmade and/or locally made things. Not store bought mass produced stuff.

Anyways. Last year I made an advent calendar on my old blog. Haven't had that much time this year... It's in Swedish but full of Christmas inspiration. Check it out here.

Autumn

Autumn is here. I' the worst blogger ever. But really I have too much to do. Studies, work, family and a business. I love it though and as soon as I can check of studies from my to do list I will have a hole lot of more time.

It's autumn. Love autumn with all its colors. This morning was magical. We had frost, sun and all the colors of autumn. Of course hard to capture in pics.

12. A crafty gift

Kind of hard to take photos of things that I have given to someone so I have to show you an old photo. I made a couple of angry birds to my nieces last Christmas.

 This is what I've been up to today! Decoupageing and gluey hands! So much fun.

I'll be helping out at agililty competitions all weekend so I will show you 3 photos on Monday instead.

A month of craft photos: 09 and 10 my hands and my craft bag

Sorry missed yesterday's craft photo. I was busy with supply shopping and some school and business stuff (will announce more about that later).  My hands are really not any beauties! I used to have long nails always painted. When I started crocheting they always broke and since that they are always short.

My WIP:s are stored in a plastic bag. But this little bag stores all my safety eyes and other amigurumi supplies. Always with me. Matches my crochet hook case. Both are made by Finnish Nanso.

The most challenging thing I've ever made must be my granny square blanket. Not that the pattern is challenging in any way but it is a lot of time invested in making a blanket! I never thought I'd finish it, but I did! I've made a separate blog post about my blanket earlier, you can find that here. Sorry the picture is old, I've had a super busy day studying and working on my business and branding.

A month of craft photos: 07. Materials

I have a lot of craft materials I mean a lot! Since we don't live in our apartment anymore I don't have my own craft loft anymore. Most of my yarn and fabrics are in a huge pile of plastic boxes. Our house is so small so I had to fill up two of them huge garbage plastic bags with yarn and fabric and store them at my parents house. That is why most of my materials aren't really pretty to photograph right now.

 So this is what I found. One of the boxes with old buttons that I have. These are stored in a pretty retro sewing supply box that my mum gave me. Love buttons! Always so tempted when I find a bag of buttons at the flea market.

A month of craft photos: 06. Color (& my weekend)

We have had a super lazy weekend. It has been foggy and gray outside so I've stayed inside crocheting, watching movies and studying. This weekend I've been using some of my cotton scrap yarn for buntings. Todays theme on a month of craft photos is color and the buntings I've made are quite colorful. I especially love all those springy pastel colors right now...
